Burda wof 04-2008-116

Ta dah....

I have finished Burda WOF 04-2008-116. I like this dress more and more. I plan to wear it first time to a photography show opening at the Powerhouse Museum in Brisbane. The good thing is that it will stand up to travel without wrinkles...yay!!

I did have some trouble with easing the sleeves in, but I think it is my inexperience on that score. I used a different photo on my review. I think my tummy looked more prominent on the review photo but otherwise it was a better photo. I think it has more to do with the fact that the fabric is very hard to photograph because of the gold detail on it. However I must say in its defence I love this fabric and I have noticed there is still some in the store perhaps I should get some more...

Here is my review for those interested.

  3. Hi Sue, thanks for stopping by my blog. I love this dress - it has on my to do list since I got that magazine, but after seeing yours I will move it up the priority. I got my BWOF subscription through isubscribe.com.au - it was $165 but at $15 a pop that equals 11 magazines for the price of 12, plus speedy delivery and it's worth every penny not to have to hunt it down each month!

  6. That looks lovely! Tummy issues have stopped me from making that dress, but I don't see any issues on you! Hmmm...

  7. Hi Sue and thanks for the lovely compliment on my NL6952 blouse. As for the matching of the print, it was all a blessing...lol.

Your dress is gorgeous and like the detailing at the neckline. Also like the twist top.

Looking forward to your missoni inspired top.
